We are not in any way subsidised by the government. Our income is generated by a thrift shop as well as sponsorships and donations.

Our “sponsor-an-education”-project brings in some of the much-needed funding but most of our funds need to be raised by fundraising projects.

We believe that with just a little help these children can rise above their circumstances. The help that we receive from our sponsors and donors goes a long way to ensuring the success of our children’s positive development.

Melkbos Care Centre submits audited accounts annually and is a registered Public Benefit Organisation which enables us to supply all donors with a tax certificate for submission with your annual tax claim.
